Concrete Driveways
Poured concrete driveways engineered for Houston's clay soil and heavy seasonal rain — built to stay flat, drain right, and last for decades.
Concrete Driveways
Houston sits on expansive clay soil that swells and shrinks with every wet season, and it's the single biggest reason concrete driveways crack or heave. We excavate to proper depth, compact a real base, and place steel reinforcement and control joints where they actually belong — not just where a stamp pattern looks good. The result is a poured concrete driveway that handles daily traffic, Texas heat, and our infamous clay without splitting apart in five years.
Compacted aggregate base and proper excavation depth keep the slab from settling unevenly over Houston's shifting clay soil.
Steel reinforcement and correctly placed control joints let the concrete flex with seasonal ground movement instead of cracking.
Proper slope and drainage planning move Houston's heavy seasonal rain away from your home and foundation.
Sealed, broom, or stamped finishes that hold their color and texture through Gulf Coast heat and humidity.
Design Options
Every concrete driveway starts with the same solid base and reinforcement — the finish is where you get to make it your own.
Broom Finish + Border
A textured, slip-resistant surface with a contrasting border for a finished edge.
Broom Finish, Plain
The most budget-friendly option — clean, textured, and built to last.
Stamped + Border
A stamped field with a contrasting broom or stamped border for extra definition.
Stamped, Plain
Flagstone, slate, or brick patterns stamped across the full driveway.
How It Works
We remove any existing concrete and excavate to the depth your driveway actually needs.
We form the driveway, compact the base, and place reinforcement and control joints where they belong.
We pour, then broom, stamp, or color the surface while it's still workable — timed around Houston's heat.
Once it's cured and sealed, we walk the finished driveway with you before calling it done.
Built For Houston
From Cypress to Sugar Land, most driveway failures we get called out to fix trace back to a shortcut taken underneath the slab — not the concrete itself. Between the region's gumbo clay, high water table, and hundred-plus days of extreme heat each year, a driveway built to a generic spec just won't hold up here. We build every concrete driveway around Houston's specific soil and climate conditions, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Pricing
Every driveway is different, so we don't quote a flat rate off a phone call. A handful of factors decide the real cost of your project:
Slab thickness & reinforcement — a 4" driveway with steel is a different job than a 6" slab rated for trucks or an RV.
Existing concrete removal — demo and haul-off adds time and cost before we ever pour anything new.
Base excavation & compaction — how deep we dig and compact depends on your soil and drainage.
Drainage planning — grading and drains to keep water moving away from your home add scope on some lots.
Size & layout complexity — curves, slopes, and tight access all take more time than a simple rectangle.
Finish selection — broom finish, stamped patterns, and integral color are priced differently.

Reseal every two to three years, especially in Houston's heat and humidity, sweep off debris regularly, and repair small cracks before water gets into them and makes them worse.
It depends on size, thickness, finish, and how much base and drainage work your site needs. We give every Houston homeowner a free, detailed estimate after seeing the property in person rather than guessing over the phone.
Four inches with steel reinforcement is standard for cars and daily traffic. If you're parking an RV, boat, or heavier truck regularly, we'll typically spec a thicker slab with added reinforcement to handle the load.
Blot fresh spills with an absorbent material, then treat with a concrete-safe degreaser and scrub before rinsing. A quality sealer makes future spills much easier to wipe up before they ever soak in.
Plan on at least 24 to 48 hours before vehicle traffic. Houston's humidity can slow curing further, so we'll give you an exact timeline based on the weather when your driveway is finished.
Sweep first, then wash with a mild detergent and a pressure washer on a moderate setting. Avoid harsh acids — they can eat through sealer and dull a stamped or colored finish over time.
