Outdoor Flooring
Paver, stone, and travertine flooring for patios, pool decks, and walkways — surfaces built to stay cool and slip-resistant through Houston summers.
Outdoor Flooring
With Houston's mild winters, outdoor spaces get used almost every month of the year, which means the flooring underneath your patio furniture, pool deck, or outdoor kitchen has to earn its keep. We install paver, natural stone, and travertine flooring systems chosen for how they perform outdoors here — not just how they photograph.
Textured stone and paver finishes that stay grippy around pools and outdoor kitchens, wet or dry.
Lighter travertine and stone tones that stay cooler underfoot during Houston's peak summer months.
Every flooring surface is sloped and jointed to shed water instead of holding it against your home.
Flooring selected and patterned to tie your patio, pool deck, and walkways into one cohesive design.
Built For Houston
Humidity, pop-up thunderstorms, and long stretches of triple-digit heat put outdoor flooring through more here than in most parts of the country. We choose materials and sealers rated for constant sun and moisture exposure, and we build in drainage from the start so standing water never becomes standing damage.
Applications
The foundation for hosting, dining, and lounging outdoors. We build the flooring to handle Houston sun and rain while still looking like the centerpiece of the space.
Whether it's the strength to support daily vehicle traffic or the slip resistance a walking path needs, the flooring material has to match the job it's doing.
Your entryway takes heavy foot traffic and full weather exposure. A well-built porch floor holds up to both while giving guests a good first impression.
Chlorine, splashing, and bare feet all put pool deck flooring to the test. We choose materials that stay cool, stay slip-resistant, and hold up to constant water exposure.
Paver and natural stone hold up best for Houston patios — they handle heat and humidity without fading, and individual units can be replaced if one gets stained or cracked.
Textured travertine and exposed-aggregate concrete grip best when wet, which is why we use them so often around pool decks. A honed or polished finish looks nice but isn't the move for anywhere that gets splashed.
It depends on the space. Pavers and natural stone are the most durable all-around choice for Houston's climate, while stamped or decorative concrete gets you a similar look at a lower cost for driveways and larger areas.
If the slab is in good shape, a stamped or stained concrete overlay can give it a whole new look without a full tear-out. If it's cracked or settling, we'll usually recommend pavers set on a fresh base instead.
Broom-finished or basic stamped concrete is typically the most budget-friendly route. It won't have the texture variety of pavers or natural stone, but it holds up well and costs less to install.
