Stamped Concrete
Textured, stamped concrete driveways and patios — a stone or paver look at a lower cost, engineered for Houston's soil and heat.
Stamped Concrete
Stamped concrete gets you the visual impact of flagstone, slate, or cobblestone at a lower material and labor cost than the real thing. We pour, stamp, color, and seal every driveway and patio on-site using a crew that's done it enough times to control the timing — because stamped concrete lives or dies by how it's finished in that first hour.
The look of natural stone or brick at a fraction of the material cost of true pavers.
No joints between individual units means nothing for weeds or ants to get into.
Integral color and stamp patterns matched to your home's exterior and existing hardscape.
UV-stable sealers reapplied on the right schedule to handle Houston sun and humidity.
Design Options
A geometric stamp pattern works well on patios and pool decks with a lot of open, freeform space — the repeating shapes make a large area feel finished without changing its footprint.
Large-format stone patterns read as a statement rather than a plain slab, and they're most requested for bigger driveways and pool decks where a bold pattern has room to work.
A tighter, smaller stone pattern fits narrow spaces well — it makes a smaller area feel proportional instead of oversized or busy.
Herringbone brings a more traditional, tailored look to a slab, and the interlocking pattern tends to hide everyday wear better than a single large shape.
Not every surface needs to be the focal point. A lightly textured finish gives you a clean, understated surface that lets your landscaping or architecture do the talking.
A contrasting border frames the whole surface the same way a good frame finishes a picture — a small detail that makes the entire job look intentional.
Built For Houston
Stamped concrete has a narrow working window, and Houston's heat shortens it further — pour too late in the day during summer and the crew is racing the set time before the stamp pattern can even go in. We schedule pours around weather and temperature, not just our calendar, so the pattern comes out clean instead of rushed.
Applications
A stamped concrete driveway gets you the look of stone or brick at a lower cost, with dozens of pattern and color combinations to match your home's exterior.
Around a pool, looks only matter if the surface is safe too. We finish pool deck concrete with a texture that stays slip-resistant wet or dry, without giving up the design.
There's no shortage of patio options out there, but stamped concrete remains one of the most cost-effective ways to get a custom, decorative surface for outdoor living.
A walkway is easy to overlook, but a well-patterned stamped concrete path ties your driveway to your front door and makes the whole approach to your home feel finished.
Your concrete slab is excavated, formed, and poured specifically to receive the stamped treatment that follows.
Each color and pattern is selected to coexist with the elements already in your space, not fight against them.
Our ability to apply lasting color and proper depth has been sharpened over thousands of completed pours.
Once we've completed the work, we walk the project with you one final time to make sure it meets our standard.
There are several different finishes to consider as you plan a stamped concrete project, and each one has a different impact on the price. The smallest investment is a standard broom-finished pour. From there, every added step — a smooth trowel finish, an integral color, a multi-tone stamp pattern — takes more time and skill to install correctly. If beauty and long-term durability are what you're after, a properly installed stamped concrete surface is still one of the most cost-effective ways to get there for any space in your yard.
Recent Work
We stamp flagstone, slate, cobblestone, herringbone, and wood-plank patterns, in single or multi-tone color blends. We'll bring samples out so you can see how a pattern actually looks against your home before you commit.
Unfortunately, no — once a stamped surface is poured and colored, it can't simply be recolored. If you're looking to refresh an existing surface, we're happy to talk through a concrete overlay as an alternative that gives you a new finish without a full tear-out.
For the most part, yes — we grade and slope every pour before the concrete goes down, and we plan control joints so the surface doesn't hold water where it shouldn't. That said, the stamp pattern itself isn't perfectly flat, so a little standing water in the low points of the texture after a hard rain is normal, not a sign the drainage was done wrong.
It depends on your city and whether the project touches drainage, easements, or the public right-of-way. We handle permitting as part of the job when one's required, so it's one less thing on your plate.
Stamped concrete has almost no room for error once the pour starts setting, so we only put crews on it who've run enough pours to control the timing under Houston's heat.
It depends on size, pattern complexity, and color choice — a single-tone stamp costs less than a multi-color blend with a border. We give every Houston homeowner a free, detailed estimate after seeing the site in person.
It depends on the pattern. Some stamp textures hold up fine on a driveway but aren't what we'd choose anywhere bare feet will be walking on wet concrete, like a pool deck or patio — for those, we steer you toward a more slip-resistant pattern. On top of that, we mix a non-skid additive into the sealer on every job as a second layer of protection.
We don't recommend adding topical color to a faded surface — it doesn't hold up over time and tends to fade unevenly again. In most cases, a simple reseal is enough to bring the original color and finish back to life.
Sweep first, then rinse with a mild detergent and a garden hose or low-pressure washer. Avoid harsh acids — they can strip the sealer and dull the color faster than normal wear would.
Most sealers hold up two to three years in Houston's heat and humidity before they need to be reapplied — sooner in high-traffic areas or direct sun. We'll flag it when yours is due.
